Perhaps it’s 1.1, or .9 beta, I’m not sure. I swiped it from someplace, modified the ingredient list to suit the current “paleo” diet plan (somewhat), and this is what I started with. Pesto, first draft?
4 vine ripe tomatoes (organic)
7 cloves of garlic (organic)
2 or 3 branches of basil (organic)
1 Teaspoon pink salt
1 half-cup of olive oil (extra, extra virgin and extra organic)
3 tablespoons of (organic) politically correct Balsamic vinegar
Shred and blend. That simple. Pour over pizza, fried chicken, eggs. So this is “Pesto First Rev.,” perhaps I’ll tune it up some.
